Development of H2 refuelling stations

Vireon is a leading hydrogen refueler in the Nordics for heavy-duty trucks. Vireon has offices in Norway, Sweden, Danmark and Finland, and Norwegian Hydrogen AS as its subsidiary. Vireon is aiming to build Hydrogen Refuelling Station in Turku region. The first refuelling station will be opened in Jyväskylä during summer 2025

Liquid Wind e-Methanol plant

Liquid Wind has signed a memorandum of understanding with a local heat plant on CO2 utilization for an e-Fuel facility in Turku Region!

Once operational, the eFuel facility will produce 100,000 tons/a eMethanol made from green hydrogen and biogenic CO2 (160,000 tons/a). Final investment decision (FID) is planned for 2026, and the facility will be operational in 2029.

Naantali — Liquid Wind

Green North Energy – green ammonia plant

Green North Energy invests in a 280 MW green hydrogen and ammonia plant.

The project has completed environmental impact assessment and secured a 17 ha land plot in Naantali harbor area, next to Neste oil terminal.

The plant aims to produce green ammonia in 2029!
